Influencer Marketing & Public Relations Account Director
What You'll Do
Influencer Marketing
- Lead end-to-end influencer strategy by overseeing paid creator partnerships, organic gifting programs, and the strategic sourcing of user-generated content (UGC) to drive brand engagement.
- Oversee the sourcing and selection of influencer talent and celebrity partnerships, ensuring a diverse creator mix.
- Strategically manage creator budgets and lead negotiations to ensure cost-effective brand partnerships.
- Conduct ongoing performance reporting, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Develop measurement frameworks that tracks influencer impact on both top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel conversions.
- Refine agency processes for creator sourcing, vetting, and onboarding to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams (e.g., paid media, content, creative) to ensure cohesive client strategies.
Public Relations
- Lead the development of quarterly communication plans that align with client business objectives.
- Oversee PR Specialists and Strategists, providing feedback on the development of compelling narratives, press materials, and media pitches.
- Generate and edit pitches, press releases, award submissions, fact sheets, bylines and other deliverables.
- Act as the final gatekeeper for all client-facing materials, ensuring deliverables are error-free and strategically sound
- Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with key media contacts (journalists, editors, producers) and influencers.
- Provide senior-level counsel on crisis communications and reputational management as needed.
Account Management & Leadership
- Serve as the primary client contact for a portfolio of accounts, building strong relationships and providing expert guidance.
- Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members, providing supportive and actionable feedback. This role is not a people manager role.
- Contribute to new business development by assisting with proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with other agency leaders to enhance cross-departmental effectiveness and refine processes.
Must Haves:
- 7+ years of proven experience in influencer marketing and public relations, with a significant portion in an agency setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing client accounts, preferably in consumer industries including furniture, home design, fashion, skincare and consumer products.
- Expert knowledge of the media and influencer marketing landscape.
- Proven ability in planning, managing, and optimizing both traditional media relations and influencer campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information.
- Deep expertise with influencer marketing technology including Sprout (Tagger), LTK, ShopMy and UGC sourcing tools.
- Ability to develop creative and strategic campaign concepts.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Experience in crafting and presenting new business proposals.
- Financial acumen, including the ability to manage creator budgets.

- Experience in managing a TikTok shop.

Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000
We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. Actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
